Ronnie Nixon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Purdue University and brings a wealth of experience in youth and family services. He has served as a Director at the Boys and Girls Club and as a Case Manager at Edgewater Systems. His extensive background includes years of dedicated work with children and families involved with Lake County Probation and the Department of Child Services.
As Co-Founder of Rose Family Counseling Center, Ronnie is a committed leader who takes pride in his work and is passionate about supporting both clients and staff. His dedication to community empowerment and consistent care has made a lasting impact in the lives of many.
SHERLONDA NIXON
Sherlonda Nixon, CEO of Rose Family Counseling Center, LLC, is a dedicated mental health professional with a passion for empowering individuals and families. She holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hofstra University in Long Island, New York, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from St. Augustine’s College in Raleigh, North Carolina.
With over two decades of experience in therapy and casework services, Sherlonda brings compassion, expertise, and a deep commitment to helping others grow and heal. Through Concrete Roses, she aims to build a lasting presence in the community—serving as a beacon of inspiration, support, and transformative change for those who need it most.
